What we need

PCIG Consulting Limited will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.
We collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information. This does however include name, address, contact details such as email and mobile number etc.
 

We will not collect sensitive confidential data known as “special category personal data”, in the form of “as health, religion, ethnicity data” during the services we provide to you.

 

Why we need it

We need to know your personal data in order to contract  with you for our services or in order to take steps at your request to enter into a contract to provide you with our services.

 

We will use this information to contact you about upcoming services/training or guidance that PCIG is making available to the market, with your consent only

What we do with it

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK, for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located in the UK also.

 
No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so and appropriate safeguards have been put in place.


We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal and or special category (sensitive, confidential) data.

 

When you provide your details we will use your details to:

·    Deliver our contract to provide services to you;

·    Contact you with regard to any matter arising from your booking;

·    Keep you informed of forthcoming training events or services run by PCIG Consulting Ltd (with your consent)

 

We do not disclose your data to any other parties without your written consent.

How long we keep it

By law we must keep basic information about course attendees and their contact details for a minimum of 6 years for tax purposes.

Subject to any legal requirement, we will delete your information where you tell us that you will no longer be attending our courses in the future or six years after you last attended a course.

PCIG will not sell, assign, disclose or rent your personal data to any other external organisation or individual.

Protecting Your Personal Data

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place appropriate technical, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you.

Your Rights

You are in complete control. You can object or withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at anytime. Though in some cases we may not be able to provide your requested service where the information is necessary to provide you with the service you want. We will tell you if this is likely to be the case.

Subject to some legal exceptions, you have the right to:

·    request a copy of the personal information PCIG Limited holds about you;

·    to have any inaccuracies corrected;

·    to have your personal data erased;

·    to place a restriction on our processing of your data;

·    to object to processing; and

·    to request your data to be sent electronically to another provider (data portability).
